In addition to the Racquet Club amenities, Scottsdale Ranch amenities also include a tennis center with 12 lighted tennis courts, 4 lighted racquetball courts, 1 lighted squash court, 6 lighted sand volleyball courts, 1 lighted full basketball court and 2 lighted half basketball courts, 2 lighted baseball fields (4 including the 2 baseball fields at Laguna Elementary School), 6 reservable picnic ramadas and a 12-station exercise course. 

The community provides many recreation programs such as tennis leagues, group and private tennis lessons, tennis tournaments, tennis drop-in doubles play, sand volleyball leagues and tournaments and racquetball leagues. Ranch residents can enjoy their own private lake, Lake Serena. Some residences have their own boat dock, but for other residents, a private boat launching area is available.
